


THE FLORIDA RIVER
The Florida River is a tailwater flowing from Lemon Dam. Below the dam is all private property and can only be fished with landowner permission or on a guided lease. Above the reservoir, hike into the Weminuchee Wilderness and explore miles of fishing. This is the public waters on the Florida River above the reservoir.
We have exclusive private access to a stunning 1.5 miles of prime trout habitat only 15 minutes from downtown. The season on the Florida River starts early May and usually concludes mid August.
This is a diverse river and ideal structure to support rainbow and brown trout. This is a productive dry fly fishery, oftentimes, fishing big dries. Access is very easy and can accommodate most anglers. Average size from 6” to 16” with some over 20”.
A rod fee of $100 per person is added to the guide rate. Available for both half and full day. Call the shop to check availability and book and day.
