San Juan River has been consistent

Despite the low flows of around 300 cfs, the Juan has been fishing the most consistent out of our local waters. The wind has been in issue for the anglers, but the fishing has not suffered. Both wading and floating have been productive nymphing with small midge variations. We are seeing a BWO hatch in the afternoon when the wind corporates. Leeches, Larva’s, emergers and midge clusters are all working. Get out early to beat the crowds. Stop by the shop for more information and to resupply.
